Service Hours Credit Reporting
Any Scout in Troop 219 is able to earn service hours for work they do outside the troop for the betterment of the community.
- These hours may not be applied to any other service requirements they must meet for church, school, or other social groups.
- The Scout may not receive any monetary reimbursement for their time and efforts.
- They cannot directly – personally – benefit from the outcome of their labors, as an individual.
- There service should benefit a group of people or an organization.
If you have performed service that meets the above criteria and would like to receive advancement credit for the hours, print the Service Hours Report Form and have it completed by a representative of the organization where you performed the work.
Return the form to the Troop 219 Advancement Chairperson or to your Scoutmaster.
